Je parle rarement de moi ici, mais, pour une fois je m&rsquo;y colle&#8230; parce qu&rsquo;en fait il ne s&rsquo;agit pas de moi, mais d&rsquo;un Monsieur dont j&rsquo;admire le courage et le mental.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">J&rsquo;entra\u00eene en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des athl\u00e8tes benjamins \u00e0 juniors pour du cross-country et du demi-fond court, et je m&rsquo;\u00e9clate \u00e0 faire \u00e7a, c&rsquo;est mon domaine, mais n&rsquo;ai pas r\u00e9sist\u00e9, depuis la derni\u00e8re rentr\u00e9e, \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre aux sollicitations d&rsquo;athl\u00e8tes masters ayant envie de progresser sur du long, voire du tr\u00e8s long, en partant d&rsquo;une base de vitesse. Je ne suis pas comp\u00e9tent pour le trail et l&rsquo;ultra-trail, ni d&rsquo;ailleurs pour le marathon, et ne tiens pas sur ce plan \u00e0 concurrencer notre excellent <strong>Franck<\/strong> Le Charpentier, dont le hors-stade est la sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 et qui s&rsquo;en acquitte tr\u00e8s bien, mais voir si les fondamentaux du demi-fond pouvaient s&rsquo;appliquer \u00e0 du plus long, avec la recherche d&rsquo;un \u00e9quilibre entre les diff\u00e9rents compartiments de comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour la distance choisie, en fonction de la morphologie de l&rsquo;athl\u00e8te et de ses qualit\u00e9s propres, m&rsquo;int\u00e9ressait comme un petit d\u00e9fi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">J&rsquo;ai donc donn\u00e9 un coup de main \u00e0 <strong>Romain<\/strong> Le Goff et \u00e0 <strong>Denis<\/strong> Caillaud, associ\u00e9s \u00e0 mon groupe de jeunes, pour pr\u00e9parer leurs RV tr\u00e8s (tr\u00e8s) longs de l&rsquo;automne et de ce printemps, et suis ravi de constater que les exp\u00e9riences s&rsquo;av\u00e8rent concluantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif\">Un effort mentalement et physiquement hors-norme, chapeau !<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Voici ce que m&rsquo;a \u00e9crit Denis ce soir depuis son ultra-trail des Chevaliers, 158km et 5700m de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 positif :<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><em>\u00ab\u00a0<\/em><em>Je termine finalement en 24h27, \u00e0 la 145e place, ce qui me satisfait vraiment au vu du niveau et des conditions de course. <\/em><em>Je suis parti dans la premi\u00e8re vague, mais volontairement dans les derniers afin de g\u00e9rer le d\u00e9but de course. Les 22 premiers kilom\u00e8tres \u00e9tant principalement en descente, je ne voulais surtout pas partir trop vite. <\/em><em>La strat\u00e9gie a vraiment pay\u00e9. Sur le suivi de course, j\u2019\u00e9tais environ 616e au d\u00e9but, puis j\u2019ai remont\u00e9 progressivement tout au long du parcours pour finir 145e. La progression a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s r\u00e9guli\u00e8re du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin. <\/em><em>\u00c0 partir des grosses mont\u00e9es, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 remonter progressivement, car je savais que c\u2019\u00e9tait un point fort sur lequel je pouvais m\u2019appuyer. Les sensations \u00e9taient bonnes et la strat\u00e9gie de d\u00e9part prudent a bien fonctionn\u00e9.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><em>Au 40e km, j\u2019ai eu un petit probl\u00e8me digestif apr\u00e8s avoir mang\u00e9 une gaufre XX. Pendant un moment, \u00e7a m\u2019a vraiment g\u00ean\u00e9, mais j\u2019ai continu\u00e9 sans paniquer en attendant que \u00e7a passe, et heureusement l\u2019\u00e9tat s\u2019est stabilis\u00e9 par la suite. <\/em><em>Vers le 80e km, j\u2019ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 ressentir un peu de fatigue avec quelques vertiges. Au ravitaillement, j\u2019ai pris rapidement du sucre (fraises XX), et l\u2019effet a \u00e9t\u00e9 presque imm\u00e9diat. J\u2019ai retrouv\u00e9 de bonnes sensations et j\u2019ai pu repartir sur un bon rythme pour continuer ma remont\u00e9e au classement. <\/em><em>Les 7 derniers kilom\u00e8tres ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus difficiles musculairement. Les jambes br\u00fblaient vraiment, mais mentalement j\u2019\u00e9tais encore bien pr\u00e9sent. Comme je connaissais approximativement mon classement, je voulais absolument continuer \u00e0 gagner des places jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e. J\u2019ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer une derni\u00e8re fois pour doubler plusieurs coureurs avant la ligne.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Le lien vers la vid\u00e9o de l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e <a href=\"https:\/\/wetransfer.com\/previews\/612183371c60067ac2b66e78d7774b4c20260517200447\/f0b51094448d25ef0f34f3d9b58e8ea320260517200539\/780857?itemId=ab887ab84635826cc4b100ee99912ffe20260517200539\">ICI<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><em>Je voulais aussi te remercier pour tout le travail de vitesse effectu\u00e9 ensemble. \u00c7a m\u2019a \u00e9norm\u00e9ment servi pendant la course, surtout pour relancer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement apr\u00e8s les ravitaillements, dans les portions roulantes et en fin de course quand beaucoup commen\u00e7aient \u00e0 craquer. J\u2019ai vraiment senti que ce travail portait ses fruits. <\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><em>Tr\u00e8s satisfait de la gestion de course globale et du mental jusqu\u2019au bout.
